Tournament games have strict rules and guidelines players follow. These rules ultimately enhance the play of the game and make things fair for everyone involved.

Scenario paintball games are common with war buffs and people who enjoy a good war storyline. These kinds of paintball battles are based off of objectives and storylines. These kinds of paintball games are the longest, and can often last for 10 hours or even go into the days.

Woodsbal is the good old fashioned paintball in the woods style of play. Capture the flag is one form of the game played in the woods with paintball markers. The other is elimination, which makes it a little more realistic as the last team standing wins.
